Montgomery County Pediatric Society

Join us on Tuesday, October 14th for the first MoCo Peds meeting of the 2025-2026 year!

Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Thom Mayer, MD, Medical Director of the NFL Players Association presenting:

“Why Healthcare Leading Matters-The Leader You’re Looking for…is You!”

Dr. Mayer is a Pediatric ER trained physician with leadership experience in crisis response, including 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, and COVID-19. Recent book published in 2024: “Leadership Is Worthless…But Leading Is Priceless”

**Private dining room – use separate entrance from sidewalk off of Pleasant Drive.
** Parking is free on the street and in adjacent surface lots.

DUES:

Similar to prior years we will keep our annual dues at $200/year (includes 4 meetings with dinner/dessert/drinks) with a guest single meeting rate of $75.  Dues and guest fees can be paid by credit card with PayPal or check mailed to Montgomery County Pediatric Society, 15235 Shady Grove Road, Suite 105, Rockville, MD 20850.

DUES REMINDER:
1) Dues and sign-in are required for all attendees even if you are only coming for the social hour and are required regardless of food/drink consumption.
2) Annual dues are paid per person and cannot be shared among providers in a practice.
3) All dues both annual or guest must be paid before the meeting or will be collected at the door.

– Welcome messages from MoCo Peds leadership

– New member introductions

– Updates from Children’s National and PHN

– Infectious disease and COVID updates from Children’s National ID

– Local updates from Montgomery County health officer

– Statewide pediatric updates from MDAAP leadership

– Keynote presentation
