Montgomery County Pediatric Society

Join us on Tuesday, May 19th for our fourth and final MoCo Peds meeting of the 2025-2026 year!

Our keynote speaker will be Amita De Souza, MD, FAAP, DABOM, presenting “What’s New in Pediatric Endocrinology: Practical Updates for Pediatricians.”

Dr. DeSouza began her studies at the University of Rochester in New York, where she studied neuroscience and then received her MD from SUNY Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, followed by a fellowship in pediatric Endocrinology at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center with affiliations at the Hospital for Special Surgery and Memorial Sloan Kettering. In 2024, Dr. DeSouza founded Thrive and Grow Pediatric Endocrinology in North Bethesda, MD.
